In addition, cyberTEQ evo supplies power to compatible devices via PoE+ and offers high operational reliability for professional use thanks to robust hardware, lockable connections, and optional redundancy.
How does cyberTEQ evo work?
The cyberTEQ evo functions as a central network switch in AVB audio networks. It connects all connected audio end devices via Ethernet and ensures that audio, control, and data streams are transmitted in a time-critical, loss-free manner with guaranteed transmission duration.
Its functionality is based on AVB mechanisms for reserving bandwidth and synchronizing all devices via gPTP (Precision Time Protocol). This gives audio streams fixed transmission times and prioritized network resources, regardless of the overall load on the network.
A classic network configuration is not required. Routing between the end devices defines the structure of the network, while cyberTEQ evo performs the necessary AVB bridging functions in the background and ensures stable, reproducible operation.
The integrated browser-based management interface allows network status, bandwidth usage, PoE supply, VLANs, and system-relevant parameters to be monitored and adjusted. Front-panel status LEDs also enable quick visual checks of key operating states.
