dual band WLAN – module
Many devices used in professional event technology can be remoted and supervised comfortably wireless via tablet-PC. There is a need for an access-point as an interface between device and tablet-PC to set up the wireless connection. The dual band WLAN – module takes the access-point´s task. It transmits the communication data in the 2.4 GHz band as well as in the 5 GHz band. For this it is possible to use the 2.4 GHz band, which is supported by many devices, as well as the less frequented 5 GHz band, on condition that the tablet-PC supports the 5 GHz band.
To protect the communication data against unauthorized access and manipulation the dual band WLAN – module comes with a WPA/WPA2 encryption, of course.
The device´s control data are available at every point within the network. All dual band WLAN – modules can be placed within the network at that point where you want to work with your tablet-PC, and not necessarily there where the devices are placed.
Is there a need to place the cyberTEQ – m mainframe with the built in dual band WLAN – module unfavourable (for whatever reason), you can separate the antennas by appropriate cables for a better alignment.
