The fibre – module converts one of the internal ports to a fibre port. To meet the requirements of event technology the roadworthy Neutrik OpticalCON® connector is used. Using the optical fibre port the maximum connection length is safe up to 550m, whereas the maximum length of a copper connection, using a CAT cable, is only 80m. On request we offer single mode converters and cables: In this case the maximum length is 10km.
Additionally the fibre – module provides one copper port to the standardized RJ45 connector. To meet the requirements of event technology the roadworthy Neutrik EtherCON® connector is used.
The internal programming of the cyberTEQ – m mainframe defines which signal is assigned to either the fibre connector or the copper connector so they can be used very flexible.
